![]() The placement of the quad turret on LA appears to make sense, as it distributes the main battery weight more evenly along the length of the hull and lower on the hull for stability. The mix of triple, twin, and quad turrets we see on the later ships are also not laid out in a consistent (or aesthetically pleasing) manner. Both ships have two triples on the bow, but DE has a twin turret on the stern while LA has a quad. Both Delaware and Louisiana have an amidships flight deck like Kearsage, and it not only looks out of place on the Iowa (Delaware) and Montana (Louisiana) hull, but also very short for performing carrier operations, even with catapults and arresting wires. With that out of the way, I actually think Nebraska looks the best of all three of these ships, with the BB armament up front and the stern dedicated to an extended flight deck. They are not the same guns as found on Kansas and Minnesota. WG gave the latter ships fictional 16”/45 Mk. 7s (both ships being 1920 SD variants should have 50 caliber rifles) which not only have a noticeably different visual model but also fire different AP shells based on the Mk. I feel obligated to point out that Nebraska’s guns are in fact 100% the same as those of North Carolina, being Mk.
